Community Service
Community Service is one of the most important ideals of Girlfriends Book Club, aside from uplifting the black community, with each of its chapters nationwide participating in many community service projects throughout the year.
The Bay Area chapter has been involved in many community service projects since its inception. They include but are not limited to: the Bay Area Breast Cancer Walk, Aids Walk, serving the Alamdea County Food Bank, Clothing Drives and monetary donations to various Bay Area charities.
